What's wrong with society today? It's sad when people hurt innocent animals. Those people need to have their heads examined, and maybe quit being so selfish.

I agree, I truly love animals. Right beside the mashed potatoes and gravy!! Except for domestic animals, of course.

There are times when I can't sleep at night because the things happening in the world tortures my mind. When people or animals are tortured, the very thought makes me so angry that I have murderous thoughts. That is bad and wrong to feel that way I know. But my thinking is, someone with a cold and cruel mind doesn't act human, and I have a very hard time having any human feelings for them.
But there really is nothing you can do. Yes, in your community or town or neighborhood you can report animal cruelty or neglect, and you might even have the guts to sneak in and save an animal you know is being abused. But we can't save all of them.
The whole world is filled with suffering, and torture and agonizing pain of some kind at any given moment. It makes me sick in my very soul, and I feel helpless. I want to save everything! I don't want pain or suffering for anyone or anything!
The only comforting thing is that oneday, according to the Bible, God's plan will be fulfilled through His son Jesus Christ.
Innocent people or animals will no longer be suffering either. There is a time coming when everyone of us must give an account to our creator of the time we spent here on the earth.

OMIGOSH!!! I know soooo many people that don't appreciate animals at all - animals to them are just animals. My friend argues that animals have no sense of reason and are stupid; that they don't have the right to be appreciated and/or protected from harm - you wouldn't understand how much that irritates me. Personally, I think that "animals" are better companions than humans - they never seem to judge you and they're always there for you. They also educate you. To hear something about animals being hurt upsets me - I think that people should be examined when they do things like that, I completely agree with you. But the question I also pose is this: if a person can do that to an animal, what's to stop them from doing the same to a human?

I HATE PEOPLE WHO HURT ANIMALS!!
I'm only 14 but still.....I saw this boy who was poking my puppy with a stick really hard. I yanked the stick of him and started poking the boy twice as hard the kid swore at me and tried to hit me and kicked my puppy. I belted the kid with that stick so hard that when i was finished th e kid couldn't even get up. I picked up my puppy and walked away.
Before you start to accuse me of abuse i'll tell you 'the boy' was my cousin.
I very much prefer animals to people. I hate humans and love animals.
You hurt animals, i hurt you!
That's my motto. LOL :)

I can't stand people that abuse on mistreat their animals, they are defenceless creatures that rely on the humans for their every need, and people who abuse animals should rot in hell for all eternity

Yes. People that torture animals for fun should be tortured themselves. A lot of my guy friends talk about shooting cats and birds and such and it totally disgusts me...I feel bad for them (my guy friends). Plus, it is a total turn off.

i totally agree! animals are awsome and deverse too be treated that way and it is way sad when they arent that is one of the reasons im a vegitarian! my sister thinks that animals like chicken were put here on earth by god too be eaten by us but i told her that was bull **** and even my pastor backed me up on that one!

ya! i love animals, but sadly, my parents will only let me have a dog since my hamster died.....
i hope everyone who abuses animals goes to jail. i have done a few mean things to my dog (but i was only 5) and she kinda hates little kids now :(

cant stand people at all, i perfer to be around animals.
they always bring a sense of peace.
or even people who have animals just to say that they have one, then turn around and not take care of it. it makes me really want to hurt that person..
