Im planning to attend Prairie View nursing school ( in Houston Texas) next fall, I have about 9 more classes to go until then. My gpa is a 3.01, which I think is horrible to get in. I was wondering what were some of ya'll gpa or someone you know gpa that they had when they got accepted to nursing school. What do colleges look for? Ive taken about 11 classes already and I have three C's.

I am in nursing school right now in Arizona. When I applied for the program I had a 3.81 GPA. The biggest thing the program looked at was my math and science grades. They also look at my NET score. I think that is what got me in on the first try. Make sure you study for your NET test that score makes or breaks you, or at least it did at my school.

My sister is a nurse, and she had to have a 3.0 just to apply. I am pretty sure this is par. But it is pretty competetive because enrollment is limited, so you'd better not get any more C's ... just to be safe.
