I know not to take it out, and i have started to do sea salt soaks and such again.
do you think the keloid will go away? please help, any info would be appriciated

thank you.

It is imperative that the piercing is properly maintained. Sea salt soaks as you said are recommended to facilitate and drain the piercing. The soaks resemble the body's natural saline, and are very gentle and soothing. The single most recommended course of action is to try and filter out any source of irritation causing trauma to the area. Wear lower waist clothing for navel piercings. Changing the style and/or size of the jewelry may help to remedy the problem. Remember not to play with the piercing. The time that it takes for keloid scarring to disappear varies for each person. Follow care instructions closely and be patient. If the keloid does not subside after proper care and time, you may wish to consult a physician or dermatologist.

Just a side question; if you got a previous keloid and are prone to them, why did you pierce your navel knowing it's common?

Depends on if you have an actual keloid as this word gets used far to often w/o proper knowledge (even by body piercers) of what it actually means. Please read the following two links describing keloids and hypertrophic scarring and maybe they will better help you than random guessing

I had one with a belly button piercing and i just took it out.It cleared up within a week,If you're not for removing it I'd carry on with the bathing - Make sure there's no rubbing or friction.
You may have to change the jewellery as it may irritate it.
If it persists go to you're doctors or where you got it done for advice x
