She was probably going to in the beginning but changed her mind. I think Stephen King wants to take over the series after she finishes her 7th book.

Absolutely. She's having trouble enough thinking up ways of continuing the series. Have you never wondered why it takes so long between books? She certainly doesn't need the money since she's the richest woman on earth. I think she will kill him off absolutely, so no one else can resurrect him in a believable manner after she's dead.

yeah, yes.. i saw on e.t. or something she was being interviewed and she said that she only planed on writing 7 books and that's that.. she is also forbidding anyone else from continuing the misfortunes of Harry. However - I am not 100% sure the public will allow her to do this..It's a shame!
