Certainly. Suppose that Mexico elected a government that wasn't corrupt, interested in the economic health of the country and it's citizens, engendered friendly relations with the US, etc.
That would just about end the 'illegal' traffic across the US/Mexican border.
Now suppose that government was corrupt, disinterested in the health of the Mexican economy, was antagonistic with the US, etc. That would keep the 'illegal' traffic going.
There certainly is a difference to the US.

no not really...i know some liberals try to pawn off on Americans that if Europe has legalized something then we should...which is crap...i think if elections around the world effected America...many Americans would notice that most the liberals from our allies are being replaced with conservative ones...ex. Germany, Canada, etc...

It's a two way street. Of course our politics affects other counties. But sorry to tell you, liberals look up to European politicians and believe we should be quasi-socialists and pacifists when sometimes war is the right course. Another example of how the far left is highjacking the Democratic party. Look at Lieberman and Lamont. Thanks to Soros.

yes. America is plugged to the rest of the world. No country can work on its own. The actions of any nation impinges on the rest of its neighbours and the rest of the world.
