I plan to live vicariously through all of you.

Here's what I had:

Appetizer: Crab Cakes with vidalia onions
Main Course: Hereford Greens Flank Steak - Sliced flank steak seared with a light wine (? or possibly whiskey) marinade, on top of a sauteed bed of seasonal greens.
Desert: Pecan Tart - a buttery pecan tart served with homemade vanila ice-cream.

Restaurant: Vidalia - Washington, DC (they specialize in infusing vidalia onions into most of their menus)

Please, make my mouth water...

Also, if you cooked a really nice meal for someone, please share as well.

I haven't cooked anything nice in ages, so I can't share anything...

The last nice meal out I had was at a local steak place. I had grilled salmon with dill sauce. a spinach salad with baby spinach, crisp bacon, fresh mushrooms, boiled egg, sliced strawberries, and poppy seed dressing, and a baked sweet potato with cinnamon butter and brown sugar. My date had a sirloin steak, a tomato and onion salad with blue cheese, and a loaded baked potato.

At home I can fix an entire meal on my grill. A boneless chicken breast, a sweet potato patty dabbed with butter and brown sugar, roasted corn on the cob, a slice of onion sprayed with butter flavor Pam, and steamed broccoli with cheese. Oh, and a baked apple for dessert.

Ya hungry yet? lol
