For Yahoo: Next to the search box is a pencil icon with triangle: After clicking onto triangle use the menu "Clear Search History"
For Google: Next to the search box is the Google icon with triangle: After clicking onto the triangle use the menu "Clear Search History"

Click on the down arrow at the left side of search bar, when you
will find various options displayed. Click on clear history.
History of all the search made by you will be deleted.

There is a better option to never this thing happend again
just do the following
In the Internet Explorer click on "Tools" select "Internet Options"
On there just Click "Content" (a tab at the top side) Click on "Autocomplete " button on that Just UNCHECK the following option
"web address" and "Forms"

If you're using internet explorer, go to Tools --> Options --> Content Tab --> Auto Complete --> Clear Forms.
If you're using firefox, go to Tools --> Options --> Privacy --> Saved Forms tab.
