I am a Scorp and wifey's a Cancer and the stubborn thing is sooo true. We knock heads on a few issues but we love each other dearly so its OK.

First you should have thought of this before you both were deciding marriage. Match making through a horoscope are at times not very accurate.
But out of my experience I'm a Scorpio mother with a son of 25 yrs. he is under the sign Cancer. Natures are some what different between us he is very romantic, have plenty of female friends just as well male friends . has an deep emotional trait when it comes to a loss or a breakup, you got to be there for them they'll fall apart..pamper him with TLC and he / she will feel again like a happy flower full of joy, they love music playing it or listening, going out, is hot tempered when cheated, or distracted, tend to be stubborn and have there own rules, when they have a problem then there stubborness weakens they'll search for help.
if you left the situation on them to decide they are more living together than marriage or even a LAT relationship that is Living apart together.
Once they are together then the cancerian are it . To be honest
a 50 / 50 percent chance. Read through my experience perhaps you'll notice something yourself.

It is hard to say because you are not simply your sun sign. You are a synthesized dance of all ten planets (counting the moon as a planet here) through the houses with different signs as their partners.
For instance a Cancer with Sagittarius Rising and a Virgo moon is going to be different from a Cancer with an Aquarius Rising and a Pisces Moon.
