kindly give more descriptions on your weed and pics if possible. Are the long leaves just straight or with saw like edges? Are the leaves thin or thick? How long have it grown and how long have you observed the weed? Because some weeds produces vines after a few weeks. How does it propagate itself? is it thru spores, seeds or root extensions? You could check the website www.stuartxchange.com and search for pics and names of different plants especially to your weed.

those other leaves are just new growth soon to be large like the others no worry it wont fly away
