When women get older, their testosterone levels get higher, so they start to grow facial hair.
If they are younger, and have facial hair, It could have to do with race. Some races are hairy than others!

A woman will grow facial hair when her hormones are out of whack. I *think* it's when the estrogen gets too low and something else gets too high. Im not entirely positive on that. It's also possible she has a thyroid problem and should have it looked at.

In some cases, excess hair growth, called hirsutism (pronounced: hur-suh-tih-zum), may be the result of certain medical conditions. In girls, polycystic ovary syndrome and other hormonal disorders can cause dark, coarse hair to grow on the face, especially the upper lip, and on the arms, chest, and legs. Some medications, like anabolic steroids, can also cause hirsutism.

Menopause. I'm so glad my hair is quite blonde. I use on of those little personal hair removal things that are like for bikini area. Never in my lifetimes did I think it would come to this but it just another of the wonderful things we all have to look forward to. For the gal who said she hopes she dies first, it happens around 50, so don't be so damned vain or you'll never get to know your grandchildren.
