ok...what u need to do is make ur boy friend understand that ur best friend is just a friend and nothing more..this outburst might be out of jealousy..so you will have to tread carefully...and i say sometimes Ignorance is bliss..what your boyfriend doesnt know wont hurt him:)...but be sure to be there for ur boyfriend whenever the need arises and for ur best friend whenever he needs u...
in the end there is one advice...
boy friends come and go...but best friends stay forever.

OK I know what you mean... First of all in these situations you can easily figure out how much they love you and trust you. I guess your boyfriend doesn't trust you much or maybe that you don't pay attention to him much. AND your best friend should also have some sense in him to know the best time for chillin with you.

In these situations people usually get confuse and don't do the right thing but don't let your anger or ego take over you. Just pay more attention to your boy friend and make him happy but put him in a higher level than your best friend - like tell your boy friend things that you best friend doesn't know or something like that you can even trick your boy friend like that but don't play around with people :)

Have fun and just remember one thing - Keep things as simple as possible.

Uh-uh, no he didn't! Did he know you had this close friend from the start of your relationship? Forget HIM! What's happened here is, part of him has been this jealous all along but in the early days of a relationship, everybody's on their best behavior - keeping the crazy under wraps. Now you've reached the five-month mark, and he's starting to flash some those true colors. I know you think he's been so sweet up to this point, and you don't want to throw away a perfectly good guy, and anyway what the h*ll do I know, I'm just a stranger on Yahoo! Answers.
Listen to me: you know what you've got to do - RUN!

Guess he has some issues. Best to sit down and talk with him and explain to him the differences in the relationship. I guess he is jealous especially if your best friend is a guy. Ask your best friend to help you out by talking with your boyfriend and explaining the situation. Life is full of choices and eventually you will have to decide. If you really care about your boyfriend and if he is acting this way then you have to make the decision whether to keep seeing him or dump him. Accepting him may mean you have to let go of your best friend.

I have been in this position when my girlfriend had a best friend who is a guy. At first I was cool with it but then she wanted to hang with him instead of going out with me but she kept on telling me she cared about me and all that. I wasn't jealous or anything but it was weird. I found out after we broke up that she was dating him the whole time.

I am not saying you are doing that but it would be better to explain to your boyfriend the situation. We guys are funny when it comes to things like that. Girls may not think much of fit but our egos do get hurt. If your boyfriend is acting like this everytime you talk with a man then he has some issues and it is best to move on. I am not sure how to explain this but it is a weird feeling after having experienced it.

A man's perspective - my feeling is that this indicates some insecurity and immaturity on his part. Like he wants all of your attention. He'll probably come back around and you could tell him this.

Understand, though, that even grown men tend to be possessive like this and it's a weakness that many have, so give him a little slack. You both sound nice and I think that the relationship could be worth saving and that a talk would be in order.

He should be glad that you have other people to spend time with. Is he the jealous type? I wish my wife spent more time with her friend, just so I can get more time alone. Are you a Gemini or a Leo?

just tell your boyfriend how important he is to you and no one will take his place. and also tell your boyfriend how important your best friend is to you but in a different kind of way and how you need both in your life
