well... i am a nursing student and the answer is Yes, you can get pregant. the chances are VERY slim. you can even get pregnant if you are on the pill or any other form of birth control. The only 100% way not to get pregnant is through abstinence, but if you are going to have sex use the pill and/or condoms.

Why are you trying? Always use condoms and birth control if you don't want to be pregnant. Even doing both of those, there is a chance of becoming pregnant. I don't get how so many people can be so clueless when it comes to pregnancy. I guess that's why 20 year old's have 4 or 5 kids. Oh yeah, a penis in my vagina makes me pregnant, duh.

read a condom box it says right on them that they are only like 93% effective and something i learned in school (in a class i took) is that 1 in every 10 is totally defective.
my mother in law got pregnate using the pill and with her hubby using spericide condoms. her 3rd child was a girl
and she got preg with #4 a boy while having a IUD.

it definitely could happen. I got pregnant while on the pill and using a condom that broke--I figured going into it that I was more than safe--lol

yes you can condoms are not safety enough,i have three children and the three of them are a result of a broken condom.So try something else.
