So my friend has been bugging me about her "issue" for awhile now, and now I'm coming to Yahoo! Answers. Does anyone have like those red marks on their arms? Kinda like pimples...I don't know. They call it like "chicken pox skin" or something. How do you get rid of them? She's driving me up the wall with this! I feel like there's no cure...Thanks a bunch.

My sisters and my daughter and I all get that too. Its more or less plugged hair follicles.
A good alpha hydroxy lotion (at any drugstore) or Amlactin Lotion (also at any drugstore-- pretty expensive, but worth it) will get rid of it.
Just remember, when you stop using the lotion, the bumps will come back too.
Its a cosmetic issue, nothing serious.

It sounds like those little red bumps on the skin is what people call "heat". Its caused by the inflammation of the dermis when prolonged to heat which makes moisture and causes the sweat glands to produce perspiration. there's a simple cure, use Johnson's baby powder or a medicated powder twice a day and keep the skin dry.

it toxins > heres what u do >Eat only fresh fruit in the mornings as for breakfast, the fruits is what helps clean our bodies, you can drink juice if you want but only fresh home made juice ( Not from a can or bottle) Around lunch time you'll want to eat above ground veggies like corn, peas and green beans. Those kind of veggies. These are what gives us energy during the day. Please nothing from a can. They won't do u any good at all.
Supper time you'll want to eat those veggies grown below ground like carrots and potatos. Here's the catch The only thing you can cook is the potatos and I would suggest slowly baking those, Everything needs to be eaten raw. The heat in cooking kills the things we need to make us healthy. Nothing processed at all is allowed you'll be defeting the purpose. only clean water to drink ( no tap water , thats some nasty stuff ) no coffee no tea no beer or whiskey no soft drink of any kind.. Abosolutley nothing that is processed and at your best don't cook any of it. at least if you have to cook it cook at extreamly low heat and not for any lenght of time. Oh you can have peanuts almonds ectt... raw no salt sorry no salt or butter to any foods either.
Your trying to remove the toxins when the body rids itself of all the toxins your/ her skin will start to lok better.

Exfoliate Exfoliate Exfoliate! Moisturize as well too, you know what it is - its actually the water that you shower in. No joke. I'm letting you know though - it takes time for them to go away. They aren't big red bumos, but little small ones.
