It depends on what you're looking for. I like Westlake Center. There are lots of flagship stores nearby. Of course, there's also Pike Place Market, which happens to be celebrating it's 99th birthday today. In March, they'll start the 100th celebration. As for malls, both Southcenter and Northgate are good. Bell Square (in Bellevue) is too hoity-toity for my tastes.
Hope you like Seattle as much as I do!

Depends on the kind of shopping you mean. Tourist type: Pike Place market. Groceries, there are several Grocery Outlet stores around plus Safeway, QFC, Red Apple. Other types: Walmart, K-Mart, Fred Meyers.

There's no Meydenbauer mall in Bellevue. There's Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square, and a lot of other big stores, but really it's not all that great. Alderwood Mall its awesome, it's huge and new and has everything, and a food court. Bellevue Square doesn't have one because they try to be ritzy or some sh*t, but it's dumb. Alderwood is in Lynnwood up i5. But it really depends on what kind of spender you are.

I am not a shopper, but Alderwood Mall is newly remodeled and has lots of variety and several good restaurants. Find it in Lynnwood...north of Seattle. Welcome!
