I am currently running an AMD Duron 851MHz.

If your running a AMD Duron you need to stick to processors that fit into a socket A motherboard. A AMD athlon would be faster and now days pretty cheap, you can still find them on sites like Ebay and tigerdirect.com. Oh BTW AMD and Intel have never played nice, if you have a motherboard that runs AMD the odds of it being able to use a Intel chip are a million to one, at least i have never seen one.

If you are running an AMD processor right now, then all you can use is a corresponding AMD replacement. Similar socket style. They do not interchange between AMD and Intel.

No Amd and Celeron are not compatable. If its a AMD board you need AMD.. AMD is way better then celeron for gameing...

trying to put an intel card in an AMD board? ha... nope... thats like trying to get a whopper at mcdonalds...
