Okay then, well just give it up, and challenge your skills for a change. Try doing things you've put off. Participate in all the sports you can think of and see how your challenge goes. Give yourself a schedule events, and a score board. Mark them down in the number of goals you got for each try out. Make it say divided into 4 weeks. At the end of one month see where your challenge ended. The challenge is yourself, but could you pull it off for one month without the weed. Compare week one and so on by your last week. I'd be interested to see if you could really pull it off...and of course your final result, and how many you actually were able to participate in, meaning would it be narrowed down to just soccer, or how many various sports did you do in one week. That would be my interesting read, and or what did you decide to participate in. I don't know...there...wondering if you could take on such a challenge. I guess we'll see, oh yeah, and of course proof of such actions, my...anything about that little information hum...well good luck, I'm now left to wonder until next time...good luck! :-)

I wouldn't stop all at once. I mean, drinking and smoking marijuana (if it was legal, which it may be where you live!) can be perfectly fine, every now and again, and in moderation. Unless you feel like you have a serious addictive personality, which it doesn't sound like you have, quitting cold turkey is not really necessary, and probably will make it more likely to start drinking and smoking more again later. I also wouldn't cut both down at the same time. There's only so much chemical change and withdrawal your body can realistically take before it smacks you back with serious compulsions. I'd say pick one or the other (the one you feel more dependent on) to cut your consumption in half with, and then, maybe when you feel comfortable with that, cut your consumption of the other in half. Then, you can decide if you want to keep cutting your consumption in half, or if you've reached a comfortable usage level. And once you feel comfortable with how much you're using each, you can set rules on how much you'll allow yourself, and self-penalties if you go over that limit on any given week. I think, unless you have a serious addiction problem, moderation and reasonable decreases is the key. Good luck. It sounds like you're making some good choices for your health and possibly the quality of your life. Kudos!

Go to Narcotics Anonymous. First, step, We admitted that we were powerless over our addiction, that our lives had become unmanageable. Does it fit? If not, you probably aren't ready to quit and may as well blaze away until you're ready.
My brother smokes pot all the time and he never did anything.

You have to quit smoking instantly.
There is no medicine or treatment for this.
It is in your hands and you have to do this with your will power.
or stop smoking and start snuffing.
