THE six? That depends on who your THE is. What you are really asking is to list the six you learned about in that motivations seminar...it's not like there is just one list of six, but dozens and dozens, ...ironically, I think you should be clearer

Try these:
1.) Strive for clarity. (see, i told you)
2.) Know the goal.
3.) Adapt to the audience.
4.) Pay attention.
5.) Model effective communicators.
6.) Recognize personal biases.

here are six others:
First: think never-ending.
Second: share what you know, when you know it
Third: expect and give honest answers.
Four: link the whys.
Five: enable others.
Six: own your message.

There are more, but I'll bet one of these is close to what you meant, and here are the links:

Yeah..what she said!

Some that I recall include: clarity, simplicity, eye contact, pace, inflection, reinforcement, interaction....

on thier own they just words

there are so many variables, perhaps you would have more success asking a more specific question, or even giving a scenario..ie "what would be the best way to tell my workmates that thier swearing offends me" or "How do u conduct a disciplinary interview"
