i mean whatever the man do there will always be someone out there trying to blame him for whatever that situation is. People say he is a ballhog what do you want him to do if no one can shoot on the team. The same people will blame him for passing the ball too much. All i want to know is what do you want from him?

Wow...someone with the same thought as mine. Kobe can not win with today's media and fans. He made a mistake in Colorado and he was ACQUITTED........he did committ adultery and shame on him but i'm pretty sure he is not the only sports star who has done that......but I guess since he is the person everyone loves to hate, it makes it ok.............
Kobe is the best all around player in the game.........he just made mistakes like alot of humans do....

Because the mainstream media, such as Charles Barkley, have projected him as selfish. Therefore, the average fan thinks that he is selfish and responsible for the break up of the Lakers dynasty. Also, because he was almost as good as Jordan, the media has put a double standard onto him. He lives with a double-edged sword. When he scored 81 points, the media started pointing out how selfish he was, and how he only had 2 assists. When Wilt Chamberlin scored 100, he only had 2 assists, and plus Kobe was leading his team back from and 18 point defecit. If Kobe scores a lot, he is selfish, but if he passes the ball, like in Game 7 against the Suns, the media says that he gave up.

In a pure society and human thinking way of answering this question :
~ Kobe is a person with basketball skills above most people on the planet Earth, jealously is a main tribute towards negative feelings towards a person.
~ Kobe was accused of a crime which, this society seems to put on top of the list of dislike. Whether he was guilty or not does not matter, the whole being accused thing pretty much ruined his reputation even for those who don't follow the sport of basketball. (ie. Barry Bonds of baseball, being accused of using steroids, when the court have not came to conclusions, yet.)
~ We, as in the public, only sees Kobe through the newspaper and the television, which, are biased, to sell their product, so things are bent and made up to create more followers and, of course, income. This dramatically changes people's views on another person. (ie. Bruce Willis, most of the movies he's in, are action movies. He'd seemed like a person who is a macho man and stuff like that, but in reality, he's a guy who has a lot of emotions and just not what you see in the movies.)

They want Kobe to be a stand up guy and show integrity. The man lacks both. From players it sounds like he is getting better with age but most players still dont like him. He is without a doubt a top 5 player in the league. His skills are fine it is his demenaor and personality that stink. Look at what Barry Bonds gets for his great play based upon he is a jerk.

You have to realize that only a great player with great skills will be critisizied by the media. I find him a player who does what he can, because with his teamates he can't be a super passer yet the media gets paid for stories so they say he is a ballhog.

First of all thank you for asking this question... why cant people accept me for who i am? i dont have a clue... really... i mean if they are mad at that colorado incident, all i have to say about that is she was a ***** and she tempted me for crying out loud... why do people single me out? im sure there are a million guys cheating on their wives right now... im just a normal human being so i commit mistakes... so im not gonna apologize to nobody... as long as my wife stood up for me(thank god for that stupid ring)... and why do people always make a big deal about my ballhogging issues... i admit im always a ballhog, i was a ballhog in high school and i'll never change for anybody... nobody can blame me for my ballhoggin'... just look at my teammates, kwame? lamar? they dont deserve to shoot cuz im the only one who can shoot... all im asking from my teammates is pass the ball to me and dont bother asking for it again, cuz im shootin' the lights out at staples everyday... yeah that's my goal, to score and to win that scoring title each year, i dont care about championships, i already have 3... i want that scoring title so bad im gonna do everything to make the lakers run every play an isolation play for me... screw the triangle... i own the lakers... i control that organization... anybody got a prolem wid dat gets the boot... remember shaq? hahahaha... and lastly, im sick and tired of all those jordan comparisons... i mean with all due respect to mj, he is a great player i give him that, but i know im better than him... hell i know im the best... and as for lebron and wade, im not worried bout you two, i know im better... i know no one can get in my way of winning those scoring titles... no one not even ai... anyways for those who adore me, continue to worship me... continue to love me... cuz i like people kissing my ***...
