He may not go down as the most poular president due to the war, even if it was the right thing to do, but he takes a firm stance on what he believes, and doesnt view polls before making a decision like democrats do. When he promised to cut taxes he actually did. There is no playing around with him, and in many eyes he may go down as a great president.

I absolutely agree.
Lincoln and Reagan were vilified in their day, too.
History will vindicate Bush.

Don't forget that the unemployment rate (and other economic indicators) are better than even when the "almighty" Clinton was in office.

I find it interesting in your statement, you avoid saying wither you support Bush or not. This seems to be a common trait with Bush supporters. The only problem is with closet supporters ( people who are afraid to come out and say I like the man) is it makes his approval rating low. I personally think he will be know as the most courageous president since Regan.

That's the way Dictators run their countries not to view polls before making a big decision (Going for a war). So are you suggesting that Mr. Bush is an elected Dictator?

George Bush cares nothing about our country, or the people in it. But he knows with no doubt that one statement is true, a country cannot be governed unless the people in it allow the government to rule over them, that is the only reason he has not taken his power trip any farther thatn he already ha, watch next election will be between Hilary Clinton and Jed Bush, it'll still be a democracy "technically"

President Bush may have made some mistakes, but who can blame him? He is a human being just like the rest of us. The best Presidents are those who succeed in times of trial (war, Great Depression, etc). We have never had a terrorist attack on the scale of 9-11 and he handled it better than most would have. I definitely agree with you.

My opinion is different. I see him as a careless man who is doing all this for himself. Do you have any idea how much money he and Dick Cheney have made in this war? They are both huge oil tycoons... big business people. Big business people only look out for big businesses. The tax cut he gave was an attempt to satisfy the little man.

Yes, you're right... he does not view polls before making decisions. That is just another way of saying he doesn't care about the voters opinion. Right? Like I said: Hes in it for himself.

This is coming from a Democrat, yes, but I don't really care about party lines. If I liked the Republican candidate, I would vote Republican. George Bush is the one I don't agree with, not his party. Roughly 2/3 Americans disapprove of him. All Presidents that ran for office again at a time of war have won. Its just the way it goes. This was obviously a mistake though.

I have to agree with you even tho it isn't a popular stand. He handled 9/11 very well and I do believe he is a man of honor. The liberals will never admit it. I think he has made some mistakes but then again, they all have. There is nothing that he can do right because this is all about politics, not about what is really the right thing to do. Unfortunately.

I agree with you ...

Although I never chose Bush in both elections, I feel that he'd done a great job, and I do support the war - justice needs to be done and hopefully we'll be terrorist-free in this world. I honestly feel bad for the Bush's (father and son) because they have to go through war. Some people just don't have respect to G. Bush. Bush has 2 more years to go ... to all those whiners ... let Bush do his job ... he has done great things.

>He will be remembered as the dimmest bulb in the chandelier of history, and his Party as the thieves that raped the American Treasury.

He is nothing but the puppet of the big corporations (read "oil") and has only held office this long because of the Republican party's mastery of scaring the hell out of the very old and the weak of mind in the American electorate.

This will continue until November 2006 and we all better hope that it really does begin to end then.<

He will go down in history as one of our greatest Presidents. I think not having terrorist attacks in 5 years says alot. They know we have a strong President. If a Democrat was in office during 9/11 then we wouldn't see the end of the attacks. Thank Clinton for letting Bin Ladin slip through his slimey fingers THREE times!!!
