I know they r taking up the jobs in this country and we are having to pay more and more taxes just so they can live here tax free. what do you think, i am open to different opinions.

I thought they are taking the jobs that nobody wants to do, like farming and cleaning, etc..

i think that if the white folk would get there asses up and do the hard labor jobs like. picking the veggies,fruit and do the roofing job landscaping jobs and any other job that is consider hard labor which means actually busting *** then we may not need them. also if they were to go back home this country would go to ****. and everybody knows that. We have to remember that this country started out because of immigrants coming here centuries and centuries ago way before we were ever around. There are many immigrants here that do pay there taxes and have the health insurance and also put in for citizenship 10-20 years ago and still waiting. so unless you can come up with a solution for this and find white folk to do the jobs they are doing, i say let them stay.

It is perfectly normal for the poverty stricken to seek work where it is available. I feel that many immigrants are in a tough position when they choose to enter our country illegally. First, getting across, some pay outrageous amounts of their family's life long savings to be driven across. Then, they have to worry about the driver, gettingg caught, or even worst being left to die in the truck. So, if they make it, then what? They have to find a place to live, and then comes work. They usually get exploited by employers looking to save money. NOW, that is where we as Americans are gettin screwed. We lose our jobs because some cheap employer wants to save cash. I think we need stricter punishment on those who choose to exploit the immigrants. The only ppl in America who did not migrate here are the Native Americans. So who are we to judge someone looking to better the lives of the family, when many of our forefathers jumped on boats to get here. I do think the immigration system needs reformed. Our motto isn't and never should be " give me your wealth, affluent, upper class." Think of all the immigrants who have improved our nation over the span of its existence.

Mexicans aregetting more jobs in the US beause L.A and Tijuana onced belonged to the mexicans b4 America got 2 greedy for land and they started to occupy there. They are also getting jobsthere becaue they r illegal immigrants and employers want chaep labor and they r not legal so they will take d jobs in order to send home money to their families. The currency is like one US dollar to 20 Pesos.

well, quite frankly, there are white people here that some may call trailer trash or white trash, that live off the government, get food stamps instead of working, and get $4,000 and $5,000 back on tax refund checks each year because they are "earned-income" status. they work less than me & my husband, but are entitled to tax breaks because they are poor and "underpriviledged". thats what pisses me off. my husband has his own business (works 10-15 hrs daily, 6 days a week) and because I made a measly $25,000 last year, the govenment put us into a higher tax bracket, so he has to pay 25% of our earnings to the government now!!! ( $10-14,000)) If I hadnt had worked, we wouldve had to pay 10% of his earnings to the IRS. ($6,000) Now, all the people who get foodstamps can be rest assured they will be fed, the medical expenses will be paid for & they will get a hefty refund all THANKS TO MY MONEY!!!! GO IRS...

I believe that if they come legally, and are admitted through legal channels great. Then they can work and pay taxes and contribute. Illegally, they tax the education and healthcare systems, contribute nothing and then send the $ they make back home. Illegal immigrants need to be deported.

If they come through LEGALLY and become US citizens, then I think it is ok. But if they sneak around the law and come through illegally, they need to be sent back to do it the right way. Or not come back at all.

It may not be the healthiest thing for the USA, but life really sucks over there. I'd do the same thing, too if I were in there shoes.
