Anyone else think this man who 'confessed' from Thailand yesterday is completely nuts? His wife says that he was with her the night the child passed away.

What is up?

Of course he is nuts. The killer(s) is one or both of the parents.

I have a feeling this whole fiasco will end up blowing up in the faces of the FBI, and any other law enforcement involved. In the past we have seen FBI, CIA, Pentagon, and many other high level enforcement teams screw up (9/11). This man seems to be very troubled, and seems to think that getting attention will make people notice him. On the other hand if it turns out that by taking the word of one author (and part time movie buff), that Mr. Karr actually is the guilty party then I will applaud all who made this nightmare finally be resolved. Rest in peace Patsy.

Mental instability is a very real problem. But it provides no excuse to torment others. In this case, he apparently has been reaching out to JonBenet's parents and telling them that he is the killer as the mother, herself, was slowly dying. Of course, my sympathy is muted by the thought that I still believe the parents are somewhat freakish by dressing up their 6 year old as a prostitute. Also, isn't it bizarre that some folks just seem to look the part? In this case, Karr simply looks like a child molester which apparently is how he likes to spend his holiday in Thailand. Whether in our jails or theirs, he just needs to be away from society.

He's not in his right mind confessing on international television. According to the news, he was a neighbour at some point. He is a child porn freak. He's saying all the right things....I was minding my own business putting a rope around the neck of a small child and engaging in sexual activities with her when she "accidentally" died in my presence, hence trying to lessen the responsibility he wants to take for the death of the child. I would be surprised if he is innocent.

I think he's a wacko nut. And he doesn't have his story straight....you can see it in his eyes. I definitely believe that he's a pedophile (sp?) but I don't believe he killed Jon Benet. What a shame. The DNA will tell the truth though.

I don't think he did it. I think he's a nut that has become too involved in the case and had nothing to do with it. His 15 min of fame so to speak.
His mannerisms just don't seem right. Don't know how to explain that, but that is what I get when I see him on TV.

Surely they have something else on him that hasn't been divulged yet. I can't imagine that they would charge and arrest him unless they had something pretty significant. After all they knew what a big news story the arrest would be and that the media would put everything under a microscope.

He looks like a child molester. And why did he run to Thailand? Did you see the psychic's sketch from the time when she disappeared? Freaky resemblance. The guy knew her, lived near her and had access to her. I don't know. I just hope it was him who did it and he goes away until he breathes his last breath.

I personally think he is just another one looking for a fifteen minutes of fame. He actually contradicted himself in the first ten second of the brief interview with reporters.
He said that he loved the little girl but she died accidentally. and when he was asked if he is Innocent, he replied "no".!!!!!!!!!!
So "accident" or "guilty"? Which one to buy?

It sounds to me from what I have heard so far that the guy is a liar. I heard he said he drugged her but no traces of drug were found in her body. He said he molested her but there were no traces of that either. That is some stuff I heard so far.
