I dont like needles either. I wouldnt say it really hurt, more of a pressure feeling. It was a little sore when he was putting the bar bell in. Mine took about a year to fully heal. But I also kept chaging mine after 3-4 weeks. For about the 1st year it got infected on and off. I say go for it!

It hurt more afterwards (beware any pants that cover it up, OUCH!) Think hard about what you're getting before you do it. Most people always get a bar, but a hoop was much more comfortable for me. Took over a year to heal. Piercer said the navel takes the longest to heal of any piercing for some reason. Make sure you keep it clean, and go somewhere reputable.

Hmm.. it hurt for like a second. It feels like a pinch. When you get it take care of it well so that it doesn't get infected. TRY not to change it a lot when it's still healing!

Mine took awhile to heal because I'd keep hurting it accidentally but what they say is right.. about 6 months to a year. It depends on how quickly your body heals and how good you take care of it.

Belly button piercings are hott sooo have fun with that!

If you don't like needles - you are not going to like this! Anyway, I had my belly button pierced 3 times: The first one got caught on my jean's button and tore straight out, the second one got infected really bad and the 3rd one I still have. It's not that bad when they do it. Not really painful at all, it is the two days after that's not really pleasant. Magic: use saltwater at least twice a day to wash it... it really dries it out and makes it heel fast. Good luck!

Oh no honey. Not at all like having your ears pierced unfortunately! Your ears heal quicker and is put in with a gun, by just about anybody, your bellybutton needs to be done by a professional piercer (usually at a tattoo parlour)
