Both.. any healthy relationship takes both giving and recieving from both partners if its going to work, if ur always the one giving and never recieving, it ends up with that person feeling unappreciated and unloved.. and the one that is recieving all the time ends up getting a huge ego and not appreciating the person who is giving all the time and tends to walk all over that person.. I love to give in a relationship.. but i also know the outcome all to well of always being the one to give and never recieve or hardly ever recieving.. so it needs to be both ways and not one

well depends what kind of relationship, if its just two people crushing most likely the person wants to recieve a little bit more
but if its a lovey dovey relationship, then ud be willing to give more

This is a double edged sword question. In my life I still think it is better to give then recieve but it can NOT be taht way all the time!

I'd rather give.......... Because it wont go waste, what goes round comes around too................. The more i give , the more i will receive!!Its mutual!! Where one person is giving all the while isnt a relationship at all, its just a compromise, which is bound to break sooner or later!

Depends on the kind of relationship ...but usually, I'm a giving person unless I feel the other person is taking advantage of me or not being equally responsive..

i think its really both ways for me i love when i give somebody something and they are just thrilled to death.it make me feel really good about myself.and when i receive something especially if it something that i really wanted im happy too. im not a greedy person and really dont like when people are if i can give something in a relationship wether material or not it makes me happy i think thats what wrong with a lot of relationships one is always giving and one is always taking

Approxmately there is no different between recieving and giving affection ,.. in both we feel happy .. this is a strange phenomena has no explation ..

I'd rather give. I enjoy very much seeing my partner smile and be happy when i do something nice. It makes me feel better than when i receive.

Give, because that way she gets something out of it AND I get the satisfaction and enjoyment of knowing that I have done something for somebody that I care so much about.

both you need to have both for each person to feel love and i dont think u can have a relationship without both
