i don't think the lakers will win another championship before phil jackson leaves ... with the way kobe plays, it looks like he's more interested on winning the mvp award rather than the nba championship ...

no. Phil is good at winning championships with the horses but he'll break and run when he has mules. kobe will not lead the lakers to a championship and phil will go by the wayside. i have been a laker fan and nba fan for years and i am now rooting for miami and shaquille. kobe, go back to colorado and you might get lucky again.

Not with Kobe and no big man in the middle. Kobe is just too selfish. He looks like he turned the corner vs. the Suns but in Game 7 he reverted to form.

yes lookin who far they went last yr wit a rookie team and not that much experince they did pretty well and give them a yr or 2 they might do much better becuz u the more they spend as a team the more they know each other and how each other work and that doesn't take days it takes yrs so give them time and phil is a great coach so thats a plus.......

YEAH!! This is our year!! Kobe is gonna be so determined to tie Shaq and he's gonna be healthy when the season starts. Lamar too, he's gonna want to get one for his son who died not too long ago. With those two leadin the way, I don't see them getting beat!!!
