It would help to know why you are heart-broken. The otherday my cat was pretty sick and I was very heart-broken I cried for two days, was worried I may have to put her down (she's 13 years old 91 in her cat years.) She got a shot and 2 different medications I have to give her everyday, but the Vet said that Precious wasn't ready to leave me yet that she still had some time. As I was holding Precious in my arms trying to comfort her the vet told me that I had taken very good care of her and that she could see how much Precious and I loved each other. I was telling her a few things about our years together how when I had surgery and had to sleep in the living room in a chair for over 2 months that Precious was right by my side and never once got on me where my incision was. I was holding Precious and she was looking at the vet and I was telling her that Precious let me know if she wanted fresh water because she would sit on the bathroom sink and wait for you to turn the cold water on, my husband was amazed at that the first time he saw it. Then I was saying how I asked "P" if she wanted to eat I'll say, (are you hungry? want to eat? "P" sat right up in my arms and popped that head around and the vet kind of laughed and pointed at Precious and I looked down and saw that she'd responded. The vet said, she knew exactly what you said. I said watch this and I looked down at Precious and said give mama a kiss and she lifted her head and butted her head (between her ears) against my mouth. The vet told me that my love for Precious had kept her alive. I got her when she was less than 2 weeks old, she'd been left in the post-office in a box, I had to feed her with an eye dropper then with a bottle. At first she didn't know how to suck the bottle. She fit in the palm of my hand with room left over. Can you tell I love my cat? Now I have a male cat too. He is about 9 or 10 months old, I rescued him from a parking lot at a Bank about 20 min away from my home. My sister works there and said that he'd been just left there. He was about 4 weeks old scared, hungry, boney, and abandoned. My heart broke, it took me 3 hours to catch him. Now he is an indoor cat, nice and fat, happy, and doesn't meet a stranger. He gives Precious a run for her money, but he's still just a baby and loves to play. He's sweet and a mama's boy. He's by my side most always just as he is now. Well I hope this has cheered you up some and remember that you can always turn to God and He will lift you up.

unfortunately only time can take care of that wound.

up until this week, I was in the same spot you are now. Sadly I let her keep me in that state for over 3 months. Don't let this happen to you.

You have the power to take your life back. Go out with friends, keep yourself distracted. Watch movies, write blogs, sing karaoke. do something that takes your mind off the relationship and in time you'll find someone new who will make you have a reason for smiling again.

You just have to suffer through the nasty parts first. But they WILL make you stronger, I promise.

You see, there are people who wish you well. We may never meet, but remember that I care that you are well, having been deeply wounded myself.
