I'm not exactly sure of the weight but for the value, try logging on to boats.com and searching for boats that are for sale of the same type to compare what everyone else is asking.

The O'Day is a great sailboat. You are looking at around 2500 lbs to tow it and depending on shape of the boat and equipment (roller furler, motor-new/old/non existent, mainsail/jib/genoa/spinaker, sheet lines, battery banks etc.) it could be anywhere from 3000 to 6500. Make sure you get some snorkel equipment and take a look under the boat as well. Look hard at the riggings and lifelines. Take whatever you can get from the seller: life jackets, spark plugs, extra rope, oars, fire extinguishers, radios, anchors. These are all things you will have to buy anyway. The best sailors are usually engineers and mechanics, you will have to be willing to do a lot yourself or pay the price. And always remember, the two happiest days of a boat owners life are when he buys his boat and when he sells it! :)
