pour plain vinegar in in plastic cup or so and put the cups on window seals if you do not want people to see them. Vinegar draws friut fleas to the cup & they will die.

There will be many answers, the one that was very useful and cute to me, is my Venus Fly Trap. I love it. It's name is Freddy Fly Fighter. Freddy crosses the line between animal/plant. They creat a sweet nectar that attracts flies and bees, then eats them. They are very effective and go for about $5 per plant (multi-headed). Freddy may die soon because it has killed all of those pests.

don't leave ripe fruit or vegetable out on the counter. The flies will go away when the food is removed.

get plastic dixie cups, and put a bit of whiskey in them (or vinegar, or even ketchup -- all these will work!), then cover the cups with plastic wrap and poke a hole in the top with a toothpick. Place them where the pests are. Also, eliminate breeding grounds...sponges, wet washcloths, areas behind the toilet...in a week or so they should be gone.

I get those too, IF I have a lot of dirty dishes in the sink.
Cleaning up will help, but you can also (while you are cleaning up) put a plate with a bit of honey on it..they will stick to it.

oh geez...we JUST got rid of our invasion ...i dont think one particular thing worked...i spent hours one night killing them in my room....i think taking out the trash and keeping the dishes to a minimum for a while is what did it....until then im sorry for you because they are highly annoying

my best friend likes to use windex. she'll set out a trap by leaving juice or food somethere then sneak up on them and spray them
