To molest someone is to force unwanted sexual attentions on them. In this case it’s all about YOUR perception. If it made you feel violated in some way, then you were definitely molested.

To ask this question I'd say you are feeling a little taken advantage of or violated in some way.
In a situation like this it doesn't matter about the gender of the people - if boundaries are overstepped and behaviour is inappropriate and not wanted, its harassment. I think anything involving touching can also be called 'assault' but I don't think it went that far.
You should in no way have to feel honored - that would mean that victims of sexual harassment and sexual assault could be told to feel honored and glad of the attention. It doesn't work that way at all!!!

Although I would LIKE to say that I wish I'd been you... honestly, yes.. if the woman really did touch you on purpose then she did violate your own personal space.. as far as a definition of "molested"... I'm not sure.. but no one should have to put up with touches if they are "unwelcome".

Maybe it was her purse and not her hand. Women don't tend to touch strangers on public transportation, that is a guy thing.

She was a little out of bounds. But it's over and done with now. Perhaps she thought you have a nice bum.

Well, that depends on how old you are. If you're 14, it's definitely not kosher; it's downright disgusting.. If your 30? Well, that's a bit different.

By Singapore's law under penal code, you are molested.

She probably bumped on accident (based on your description) and smiled out of embarrassment or confusion?
cannot really tell too much more from your description!
Good luck!
Hope this helps!

It is not molesting, it is sexual harassment and there is nothing to feel honored about...
