For cramps and other menstrual discomforts, try an OTC medication for women. Midol and Pamprin were the original ones, personally I prefer Midol.
For a fast and easy style that you don't have to spend an hour each morning to achieve, try a natural look. Let it dry on it's own when you don't have to go anywhere and see how it lays. Then the next time you dry and style your hair, go with the natural part and the way the hair grows. It won't need a lot of touch-ups during the day, and it won't take long to style or loads of styling products.
Go to an on line hairstyle site and search based on your natural hair. Short, medium, long, wavy, straight, curly... It should give you some results that are similar to your natural hair.

Or try a virtual makeover.

The most important thing should be something that you are happy with. You want quick and easy, so don't try a complicated style just because the stylists says you can do it in 10-15 minutes. It will take longer than that until you are used to the style. Don't try something that involves a curing iron or flat iron.
I ended up pulling mine back almost everyday at some point for convience. It's hard to work when your hair is falling in your face.

Take Midol. It contains caffeine and painkillers, the best of two worlds. Make sure you keep a pad in your purse/backpack at all times b/c if this is only your second period, you don't know if you're going to be a girl who has periods every 28 days or if you're irregular. My best friend from school used to have a period only every so often and with no pattern whatsoever. Trust me, you don't want to be caught without one. As for your hair, go for a layered bob. A little bit below jaw level, mid-neck is the most flattering. Get one of those wide-barrelled curling iron/hairdryer hybrids---you can flip the bob up and use pomade to keep the style, or just curl it under. A bob is also good if you only have time to air-dry. Shorter hair is usually better for us fine-haired chicks, it looks like it has more body when it's bobbed.

Try using some volumizing shampoo and condition for the fine hair, to give it more volume, then maybe just do a easy going ponytail style, or just a brush and go. If you have any waves in your hair at all, you could try gettin your hair a bit damp, and moussing it, thats a cute style. As for the cramps, just take an over the counter pain reliever for the cramps. Or get some medicine excecially designed for menstal cramps and tiredness. Good Luck to Ya!!

First of all, for the cramps try Aleve or Teen Midol. Take the pills before bed and when you wake up in the morning. Also carry two with you during school incase. Drink water. If you drink at least 3 glasses of water then your cramps should lessen, the water trick works for me.

Sorry about the cramps... I always took plain old Tylenol. I only had cramps the first few years I had my period. Try putting your hair up in a messy bun. All the magazines say the bun is the new pony tail for this season.

I can help you with the hair problem. I have VERY little patience for my thick hair so i alway put it up in a ponytail. sometimes i mix it up though. I start out with a regular ponytail, but on my last time around with the hair tie, i pull my gob of hair halfway through. you should end up with a neat loop. then i grab the ends of my hair, that should NOT be in the loop, and pull them around my ponytail creating this sunburst look.

An even easier think is to put it in a regular ponytail. then take the tail and twist it into a tight roll. next i take a HUMONGOUS butterfly clip and pin it up.

Both of these are super easy and they only take 45 seconds tops, not including the time it take to brush your hair. i hope it works for you!

First do your hair in a ponytail and find a pretty scarf and put it over it(like Nicole Richie)and will your doing that squeeze your stomach in and out and up and down like your a running or something and then get an adult strength Tylenol and take one.(everybodys different so u may just wanna take 2) and i t works pretty fast and also drink warm chamomile or mint tea with milk and honey it relaxes you and take warm baths.

I like using those foam rollers that fold in any shape or form you want for your curls and sleep on it. Take the midol or just any pain reliever meds before you go to bed and when you wake up. Eat a light breakfast like fruits and drink plenty of water.

Motrin helps cramps take one before school on those days. Hair the less mess the better. Natural or pulled back and clean is the best bet.

the midol pill really does work. if the cramps are really bad, maybe you should talk to your school nurse. as for the hair thing you could braid it at night while its wet, in the morning take the braid out and add a little gel.
