that movie is so scary. its so cool too. i watched it last night and it was disgusting how he wanted to get away and the bad guy cut his ankles....ewwww. but it was so awesome. ewww does that make me a freak...im never going to amsterdam....or bratislava....i dunno im staying in america.

all that from a movie? travel isnt like that snuff film....in fact its probably more dangerous here in usa then most anywhere in europe....but to each his/ her own

Man! This movie really got me thinking. Yeah i know all of us agrees that it is a movie and that really got me wondering. Couldn't it happen in real life as well? Think about it! All the 'torturers' in the movie are rich people from all over the world paying big bucks to live out their sickest fantasies. The rich people would get anything they want till they're so bored and apparently toturing people is something for a new agenda for them.

I haven't seen it but my boyfriend and a friend went to see it. They said "It wasn't visceral enough." They like intense gory movies and they were very disappointed and thought it was pretty lame.
To agree with mikecpa: Miike Takashi has some of the most intense and disgusting movies. Ichi was nasty.

It was cool but it won't stop me from traveling. Anytime you go anywhere you need to pay attention to your surroundings. They were just dumb, taking it all in and not thinking that possibly the people around you might have a motive. Out of it all, that goddamn eye. He wasted his time with that thing.

yes, i saw hostel and honestly it was a cakewalk comparing to Miike Takashi's Audition. That movie is five time more disgusting than hostel.
