Marijuana serves many positive purposes. It also has it's negative effects, but anything can prove to be negative if used too excessively.
I think it's totally illogical to dismiss someone from the work place because they may smoke pot on their days off. I hate the fact that there is no separation between marijuana, crank, heroin or crack in regards to the consequences of drug testing.
I had a surgery a few years ago and it was very painful before and after the procedure. The doctor gave me hydrocodone for the pain, but I was still in agony. I started having excessive bleeding afterwards and began to panic. Of course, this panic increased my heart rate, which led to more bleeding. My boyfriend loaded up the glass pipe with some nice herb and we smoked. Yep, you guessed it, I calmed down and felt a great deal of relief from the pain. I would have had to return to the hospital, had it not been for the herb.
I don't see a problem with using it for recreation either (so I have many of times).
Alcohol is man made, therefore, I don't feel it's as conducive to ones well being. I do drink, but hey, I'm not perfect. I'd rather have herb over alcohol any day. However, the older I get, the more paranoid I become about getting in trouble. I do wish it were legalized. Not everyone acts like immature morons when they smoke. I think that is the stigma that has been placed on it.

Marijuana is associated with the occult which scares a lot of people, i.e. the hippie culture, delving into parallel realities and the hard-to-explain things, meditation etc. It has a drug that induces an altered state of reality, a kind of a high that makes you hallucinate if taken in large amount or if the stuff is really potent. It is similar to what the Native Americans use during their tribal council, the peyote mushroom. It is called strychnine.
People who have not had the experience or are afraid to try brand the stuff as addictive or can lead to addictive substances. It all depends upon the user. There is social drinking and there is binge drinking, right. What I mean is there should moderation tinge with discipline or self regulation in these things. Marijuana can be great catalyst for social transformation if used in the proper context. I was a hippie, still am but without the stuff. I miss it.

NO he won't, firstly it relatively is no longer even a presidential subject, it relatively is a legislative technique to make or repeal rules. He additionally won't touch the subject. If he did circulate to legalize it would be like a third rail. If he does not mess with it the pro legalization team will nevertheless come across with democrats, very like the gay communities who won't get a topic from democrats the two. i'm inquisitive approximately legalization, so it relatively is no longer a private bias that brings me to my conclusions, purely bare realism. Legalization would take the criminal earnings out of Marijuana and unquestionably kick the crap out of the Mexican border criminal agencies that are a brilliant danger to the Mexican government good now. Legalization would be between the very best issues shall we do. If it have been criminal i'd wager it does not be so customary, as a results of fact human beings unfold it around to get human beings fascinated to advance markets for the stuff.

Ido not think that it will ever be legal in the USA,if a
anything the politics are moving in the oposite direction and a fascist attitude against minority groups is growing
ATITUDES IN OTHER COUNTRIES
mild in Canada.used to be legal in Alaska.in Autralia you can have a few plants in the garden,In South Africa an ounce in your pocket is accepted .In Holland it is sold openly in koffie Bars and the police will direct tourist to safe places to buy.}in England a few years ago it was decrimenalised.
In Marroco it is the culture and all the old men smoke it in the caffees..as in many Arab countries
In Asia in some countries it is a very old part of their culture.
etc. etc.
MEDICINAL
in many countries marijuana is used in rubbung alcohol mostly by old people to relieve body pains especially the limbs.
it is also used for Asthma and nervous disorders
AMERICA
the USA the attitude is dogmatic for other reasons than the narcotic effects of the drug.
before 1920 marijuana was extensively grown by the USA and Mexico for the production of fibre.which made a durable material, cheap and it does not scorch, that was used for all the jeans, ropes, sails for the sailing ships and millions of jute bags that were used by millions of farmers, representing a multimillion dollars business.
after 1920 with the coming of synthetic materials, which were products of the petrolium business ,which were owned by the families or associates of most of the presidents,
this competitive comodity could not be allowed to continue to exist,
and the war on Mariujana was on.
the drug factor although it has been proven beyond doubt by countless tests that it was a relative harmless substance compared to sigarettes, alcohol and others, was blatently ignored and relentlessly the war continued to this day.
although it does worry the church, since people tended to stay up all night and question religious and philosohical beliefs.some times coming to uncomplementary conclusions of what was socially accepted.
alcohol puts people to sleep and they dont question the given standards.
MARIJUANA FIBRE
today Mariujana fibre is making a come back in Europe and Africa and produce designer pantalons and shirts for very high prices because the quality is superior than linnen.
these fibre plants do not produce drugs to speak of and are worthless for the drug market .it is the fibre that is the value.
and organically speaking it is an exelent plant to recuporate tired soils ,after cattle and corn field have practically destroyed the land, because the plant is deep rooted grows on most altitudes, and breaks open or loosens compacted soils as well as secreting nitrogen.
.the stalks can also be converted in to building material such as blocks

Yes, I agree with you. They should legalize Marijuana. Just like alchocol, they should set a law limiting how much dose people can take pot. For ex, it is illegal to drive if you take over certain amount of dose...kinda like law applying against drunk driving.
Indeed, i think right amount of Marijuana make relax people and make the world much better. But it is sad that there always have people have no self control and abusing it.

There was someone on this board yesterday a who basically said she used pot to work better and then had her 360 page available to it was easy to figure out who she was and where she worked...I amsuprised no one contacted her Walmart because she claims she beat their drug test...how smart is she really do you think.
I am glad for you that your personal experience abusing an illegal drug beats the experience of irresponsible folks who drink booze. Good for you

I think they did a study and it showed that some pot is actually good for you if you have injuries such as in your back. Besides, if i were like a priminister or something i would want to legalises it for the simple fact that is actually less harmfull then other drgus such as crystal meth, ice speed or what ever. You feel me?

legalize it, so the prisions have a little room for worse things,
selling it for profit would cease, and if they think it leads to
hard drugs thats crap, if you get a room full of people together
that smoke pot, they are mellow, if you get a group of alcholics they
end up in a bar room brawl. this is the 21st Century

I would have to agree... the people wouldn't sale it illegally and buy it illegally.
With it legalized people will be less likely to end up in the drug dealing business.
I woudn't smoke it even if it was legal though.
