College football question (I-A and I-AA):

If a team has lost all of their eligible QBs to injury during a game, can the opposing team substitute an eligible QB from their roster to play on the other team so that the team will not have to forfeit the game?

Sure. What a great idea, the oppossing QB would throw interception after interception. Oops! Sorry!

No ding-dong, teams usually have a 4th option like Chicago did one game where Walter Payton played QB and just ran it every down.

As long as a team has players standing on the sideline, they won't run out of reserve QBs no matter how many get knocked out of the game.

NO, if a team loses all it's QBs in a game it will substitute in another player to play. In the early 90's The Miami Dolphins used Tony Martin a WR. in that situation. The Buccaneers have Used Tom Tupa a Punter (he used to play QB in college and some with the cardinals).

i imagine it is threat-free to assert you're of route a Ravens fan. they don't look to be the suited team in the league. they're suitable 3, yet no longer 1st. That large difference truthfully belongs to the Saints proper at this second, who you've listed fifth. the different major comic tale of your record is even pointing out the Broncos. record aside, they're a bottom 10 team, no longer suitable 10. looks to me like you're basing issues on both history or favoritism, because your complete record is off. right that's the way it is going to seem..... a million. New Orleans Saints - Destroying each individual of their course, and giving Brees 10 minutes to throw the ball each play. 2. Minnesota Vikings - Adrian Peterson will shatter Eric Dickerson's unmarried season dashing mark this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, and the Vikings might want to in uncomplicated words lose a million-2 video games. 3. Baltimore Ravens - Doing it on each and each area of the ball, yet desire a more effective efficient try, and sturdiness is by no skill their sturdy factor. 4. ny Giants - have handed each try they have confronted, even even as they were predestined to be doomed. 5. Indianapolis Colts - Scoring at will, no remember how little time they have the ball. TDs=wins. 6. ny Jets - no actual try yet, and Sanchez remains youthful. in the adventure that they make the postseason, it's going to be really. 7. New England Patriots - Brady looking worn down (thank God) and they lost 1/2 the team in the offseason. New gamers are literally not choosing up the slack. 8. San Francisco 49ers - mike Singletary scared a prevailing options-set right into a before inept team. 9. Philadelphia Eagles - Even the backups are putting up extreme numbers. 10. Atlanta Falcons - New gamers everywhere, and doing more effective efficient because of it.

No. I don't think they would even consider that. In the case this would happen (which I don't think ever has or ever will) they would remove the redshirt off of one of their freshmen (a college team usually has 5 or 6 QBs) use an emergency QB (which is usually a wide receiver who played QB in high school) or just run a Wing T offense. (the center snaps the ball directly to the running back and there is no QB.)

Of course NOT. A WR with past quaterback experience in High School or one who can just hand off the ball to the running back will usually fill the position. I doubt the opposing team would want to play against their own quaterback, plus, that QB wouldnt know the plays the other team runs...

Wow I hope you arent American and asking this question. Common sense sould be your guide here. If your defense is that dominate and has gottento and hurt 3 QBs why would you want your own guy to get hurt. Also there is the issue of how would the replacment guy feel if he beats his own team and costs them the palyoffs by that one loss. It has happened before and the team used a Punter for the QB.

No, who gave you that idea. Each team has backups and a few emergency backups. If need be, a team would have the kicker play quarterback.

Players can't switch sides during a game.

The mascot or water boy would be able to long before any opposing player can. It's not able to occur at that level. Amateur leagues of any sport aren't as rigid in the application of such rules. That's not to say it happens, just that they might have had an incident or two.

no, they will have to move someone over from a different position to play qb, usually they will have a couple wr's or rb's who played some qb in high school
