Yep I met someone online in a chatroom. We talked for about 4 months or so and arranged a meeting to see if we'd hit it off. It was a perfect match. So perfect, infact, that after 3 years of being together we've decided we cant live without each other and we're getting married next Saturday :D!

Yes, met by chance through short message sent through "answers". We began emailing on a regular basis and fell in love. We have only been emailing and talking to each other since May but we have a close emotional connection and share thoughts, feelings and emotions through emails daily. We are there to support one another or offer kind words but have never met in person. He is in another country and we do not know if we will ever meet. Right now we are enjoying emailing each other and conversations on the phone and not looking for anyone else. With the circumstances though we may eventually find someone closer to home or maybe we will find a way to be together.

I have a few friends meet, marry, & have kids with people they met online, but it's still not for me.
They met on Match.com
They chatted for a couple of weeks
Married 6mo, 12mo, 15mo later (3 different couples)
Are all still together but on is a little rocky but I think it would have been even if they met at church or a gym.
But it's still not for me

Yep, met my soon to be hubby on plenty of fish. We set up a meeting after talking for a week. We really hit it off and have been seeing each other for over a year now. We adore each other and are getting married in May.

Yes, I met my wife online ten years ago when the internet still costed at an hourly rate. We have been together since. I caution anyone else who is thinking about hooking up online that it has totally changed fro years ago when people actually told the truth and weren't fake.

Met on-line (udate.com) and chatted for about 6 weeks which progressed to a couple of weeks worth of phone calls. Married now for four years :))

I know two couples who met on the internet.
The advantage of course is that it widens your prospects.
You need strong nerves and the perseverance of Penelope but if you are dead set on finding someone, then it is an option open to you.

Nope, me and my friends are just crazy enough to want to actually meet someone and talk with them face to face, and get to know them in person before we commit to anything.
