I find it very difficult to be close and look at a person's face when they have bad breath and bad teeth!

I wouldn't date any kind of smoker even if they looked as hot as you. But bad breath and bad teeth are also a turn off, even without the smoking. I might find myself on a blind date with someone like that, but there wouldn't be any good night kiss for her!

What this person requires is a good dentist with some good medical aid to sort out the bad breath. A good balanced diet is a must and of course a pack of mouth fresheners will do the trick. Please also add a good toothpaste and a little YOGA for getting control on the breathing and clearing up sinuses.

If you find it difficult then don't date them...People also have yellow stained teeth from coffee and tea. My husband is a smoker and usually he'll eat a tic tac or one of those things for your breath that melts on your tongue before we play, if it's just a quick peck on the lips or something he's hardly there long enough for it to really bother me.

And a smoker despises clean breathed people!!!!! Just kidding, I have to admit for a smoker I am anal about my breath. I brush after EVERY cigarette and when I can't I have a bottle of mouthwash in my backpack. I am so self conscious of this yet I think that in a way other smokers should do the same. Good god some of us who smoke like a chimney and don't brush. YUCK!!!

If you don't like smokers then don't look at them and stay away from them.If you feel that way about them... I'm pretty sure they would prefer that you would. LOTS of non-smokers have nauseating breath...maybe they think since they don't smoke that they do not need to brush their teeth,eh? Oh,and so many people here said they "hate" smokers...that is a h*ll of a reason to HATE someone... HATING is not something to brag about.

U must be a real blonde who care as long as they brush their teeth and wash their clothes and eat gum for fresh breath I'm sure some people would date them and being married and a smoker my hubby (of sixteen --yes16 years) loves me, so take that smarty pants; OH by the way I don't really care what u think, I ain't kissin' u!

In my perspective, smokers are the most dirty,disgusting people who I think don't care for their health and I could never imagine myself with some one who stinks,has yellowish brown teeth and fingers, and coughs every 3 minutes.

No! and neither should you! Why compromise your integrity? I worked in a jewelry store and it never ceased to amaze me the people with rotten or missing teeth who could afford a diamond but not a dentist.

Well both my hubby and I smoke so I guess I would date someone who smokes! BTW we don't have yellow teeth or bad breath!

Yes, I would date one. I've dated smokers before and it's not a big deal, though it is preferred that they don't smoke.
