They have excellent reputations, but I worry because of how dumb Bush is. Do you think he would have been accepted and graduated without his family connections?

All these prestigious Ivy League got stupid kids just because of their family legacy. MIT doesn't have anyone stupid. Go Engineers!

Dumb people graduate from all kinds of schools. What possible way would you have to judge anyone's intelligence in the first place? You may mean Bush's judgement, not his intelligence.

hello. my friend attends harvard and was accepted with a 1100sat because he was the 3rd ranked rower in the country.
al gore was 25th in a class of 50, with a sat of 1200 something
this is not common but there are some anomolies

Ivy League schools don't allow "C" students to continue and then graduate, as George W. did. He got a free ride because his daddy put some money in someones hands. If he were just anybody, they would have put him on probation and then kicked him out if he didn't improve. But, then again, he would have never gotten in in the first place.
