Isn't it interesting that they are more spiritually advanced than other life forms? Humans and dolphins have greater awareness that certain things have multiple benefits. The key, therefore, is their greater awareness. That is what allows for the experience of pleasure. Likewise, lesser evolved life forms possess less awareness and, thus, lack the capacity for pleasure from an otherwise mundane experience.
