Most Rottweilers and Pit Bull Terriers find catnip an aesthetically pleasing addition to their doghouses and enclosures.
This is also a good way of providing exercise for your cat, and eventually replacing it with a more worthwhile species.

put it with dill and thyme over fish then grill it, keep it in a planter by your patio to repel pests, mix with ginger and mint for that "mellow" tea, you can skip the chamomile, catnip works better anyway. your cats can indulge a bit too, however if you have a tiger i dont suggest it, they (and other big cats) are much more affected by this substance.

If you have a cat , then put it on scratching boards, and toys (they love the stuff!) even as treats for them to play with It'll keep them busy for hours. Otherwise, i dont think its edible. I guess it Might be, but i dunno for sure
