i would like to see you make an accurate forecast. It's not as easy as you think. There are so many things that can cause it to rain, or not rain, and sometimes they get missed on satellite or on the upper air charts.

If you are referring to the Weather Channel, then you are listening to men and women with communications degrees relying on others to analyze the weather for them. The Weather Channel has some real tried and true meteorologists, but they are generally the ones in the lower tier of their class or the ones who took communications classes instead of some of the more advanced weather classes. Channels devoted to only weather tend to all have this characteristic. That is why they are wrong more often than, say, the National Weather Service or an informational website that has no pictures of the forecasters whatsoever. Ugly people TEND to be smarter. Also, every individual analyzing the weather will come up with a slightly different forecast. Pay attention to the forecasters that are messing up and find some that aren't.

The channel with the weather is always wrong because they say that it might rain. However, if they say it would be sunny today, it will not rain for sure. That's because they can confirm 100% that it will rain in that case. Just like when you have a few symptoms of stress (loss of appetite & headache), it doesn't mean that you have stress. However, sometimes it could mean that you have stress. That's the same for the weather. If the sky shows a few symptoms that it is gonna rain. It could mean that it will rain. But, sometimes it is true that it won't rain

Because you only notice when they are wrong. Most of the time they are right, but you don't notice. If you really want to know how accurate they are, keep a track of the weather for a whole months and see how many days they get the forecast right. Also remember that if they forecast showers it doesn't mean that it will rain exactly were you live, but there is a good chance that somewhere within your locality it will rain.

Wouldn't it be nice to predicted the way the world works. What does it really matter anyway. You still have to go to work and or school. Life still goes on whether it rains, snows or is a beautiful day. Just be thankful you can enjoy it.

Odd as it sounds long range forecasts are more accurate than the next day's forecast...

Besides, bad forecast keep you tuning in to find out what happened - admit it!
