Why do men cheat?

I have so many friends whom are married and they have been telling abt their husband who cheats on them. Why is it forgivable for men to cheat and not women? Why must is it the men are teh ones who makes or break the marrige? Why is it all about the men??

Honey, men cheat for all sorts of reasons. Their horny, not getting it at home, etc. They seem to come up with the darndest of reasons.
It's also not such a forgiveable thing. Many marriages end when this happens. The ones that do take their men back either have some pretty deep emotional issues and lack the ability to stand up on principal, or they simply refuse to end a marriage. Women are funny that way, everything could be falling down around us and we have this drive to somehow find a way to make it work. Most of us are natural born nurturers. We would rather give everything we had and then some before we'd be willing to walk away and chalk it up as a loss.

Men on the other hand, well most men anyway, don't care about any of that crap. Half of them can't hold a thought more than a day to save their soul. Most of them act on impulse and society has taught us that crazy notion that "boys will be boys". Not only do we believe that crap, but it's instilled in us since we were all little, so we give it consideration.

As juvenille as it seems, this has been going on for decades and I'm sad to say that society has just learned to accept it.

Well the reason that most men cheat, is because they may not be gettin all they need at home. Like most men have a higher sex drive then women, so I guess you can say "they need it more". So they begin turning to other women, who can give them what they want, with no strings attached. Some men I guess just don't understand the vowels they exchanged on their wedding day.

First of all, ppl who cheat have a lot of insecurities in them and a big trust issue that they have to work. Some ppl (not just men), are weak minded and do things off of how the feel at the moment and never think about the situation until it's too late.

They are the most insecure creatures in the world. I don't know how society made it seem like something cool. To me it's nasty and a disgrace. And if either party cheat it is gounds for dismissal. If the they choose to forgive each other good for them but personally I would always remember!

Because in this world now a days people can't stay faithfull. Everyone wants to and will most likely cheat. It is all about how u handle it. I prefer not to ever know until the girl is knocking at my door saying I SCREWED YOUR MAN. Other than that u can't obsess about it. Its a reality.

Both men and women cheat. It just seems to be more common in men. Maybe its because men are encouraged to maintain that "macho" image.

well, its because men are smart enough not to take a cheater back, it seems like the women are too stupid to tell their man that its over, thats just the way it looks to me

you have a good question there. i think it should be one of the 7 wonders of the world. if us woman go and have sex with 2 people, that makes us a bad person and labels us a sl*ut, but if men go out and have sex with 200 people he has braging rights as a pimp. i dont think we will ever be able to answer that.
