so i have dropped a 350 into my jeep wrangler it has been bored to .30 and it has a R.V Cam i was just wondering if you guys think it will sound good if i ran a single 3inch exhaust with a flowmaster super 40 series and it also has Shorty Headers

It'll sound OK.....but would sound better with true dual exhaust. Run 2 1/2 inch pipes from the header collectors to the mufflers, and then 3 inch tail pipes. You need to have some restriction and back pressure in a street driven system. Also, run a crossover or "H" pipe before the mufflers to equalize the pressure in the system. It will also give you better midrange horsepower and torque.

If you are wanting better performance, then yes, go with your Flowmasters and the shorter headers. If you want it louder, go with a 12 inch glasspac and 2 1/2 inch pipe. Good luck, and have fun with it!!

If you've already invested the $ needed to do the swap, run a dual exhaust system as described above. I would love to hear it when you're finished. BETTER yet, how about a ride?

Drive fast around the block in 1st gear a few times so everyone else can enjoy it too!
