i'm not exactly sure what you ran into. and if that is causing the pain. there are pulls and twinges you do feel throughout pregnancy. HOWEVER--it shouldn't hurt. i would call your dr. they may be able to tell you what's going on--measure the pain from 1-10--or have you come in and do a vaginal ultrasound.
BTW, baths are definitely OK. It's HOT baths that you should avoid. And No baths after your water breaks, that is what causes infections.

You may have just pulled a ligament from the sudden movement.A ectopic pregnancy may include pelvic, abdomen, shoulder and neck pain.It is very sharp stabbing pains,it may come and go or vary in intensity, other warning signs of ectopic is vaginal bleeding, gastrointestinal, dizziness or light-headedness.The best thing you can do is notify your dr and they may want to see you and do pelvic exam to locate the pain, tendernous or see if you have a mass in the abdomen.Lab tests may be ordered. They can check your hcg and find out if it is ectopic because in a normal pregnancy the hcg will double every 2 days but if it is ectopic it will progress much slower.Ultrasound can see if the pregnancy is ectopic but i dont think that is your case, you probably just pulled a ligament.

It's probably round ligament pain. This can be a VERY intense pain, on one side or both, located about where the legs of a swimsuit would be. When I was about 9 or 10 weeks along, I started having that if I would move too quickly, and at first I was terrified that there was a problem with the baby but my doctor reassured me it was totally normal.
But, as with any concern when you are pregnant, ask your doctor for total reassurance! Good luck!
