Mary was a Jewish woman and from Biblical accounts she was also a righteous woman...no doubt she would be appalled at what's going on today.
Physically we're a human family. Spiritually we are NOT all brothers and sisters. Christians are brothers in that God is their Father (spiritually).
Jesus is/was more than a prophet--He is also God.
Nothing wrong with music, either. He sang hymns with His disciples.

Catholics believe in Saints and Mary, the Mother of GOD.
I believe it is wrong to worship "idols" such as Saints because the Bible says so.
When the Bible refers to "Saints" , GOD is referring to the Church.
And as far as when anyone "gets" or doesn't "get" religion-well, that's up to GOD and in HIS plan for their lives.
