Around 12 months. But there is a range of "normal" for first steps. Some babies starting walking on their own at 10 months, some at 14 months.

Kids have their own time. With walking, sitting the potty , talking etc. The baby will start walking when he/she feels confident to do so. My daughter only started at 13 months. Dont worry. Being a first time mom is tough - but you will get the hang of it.

All babies are different my brother and my mother both walked at 7 and 8 months! sounds young I know! My kids were 13 months, 10 months, 11 months and the last was 10 months. I think first babies tend to walk a little later cause they dont have siblings to copy.

Anywhere from 9-18 months is considered to be normal, with an average age of 13-14 months.

My first son walked at age 13 months, second didnt start till after 18 months

Each baby is different. One of mine started walking at 9 months and the other at a year. When they are ready the fun begins.

At 8-9 months they start trying to walk on their own, with help of you of course. In a few months, they should be able to do it pretty good.

I walked at 8 months, my 1st son walked at about a year and my second around 8 months

about 10 months to 14 months is when most kids start walkinh/ wobbling! but no probls if they start earlier or later... don't know a normal kid that doesnt walk, so dont panic!
