Who has caught a dragonfly, tied a thread around the thorax and let the insect propel itself around and around your head while you hold the other end of a 6-8' length of thread in your hand?

Can and DID happen! Observed Korean kids doing just that as entertainment for hours on end. This was when South Korea did not have the taken-for-granted luxuries we enjoyed here. No Wal-Marts or Kressge stores to buy trinkets in those days. Busses were made from 55-gallon fuel drums used by U S Govt. in Korean Conflict.

June bug's can fly all day,there leg's are much easier to tie up,and they are easier to catch.

Once, but it didn't turn out so well. Apparently, dragonflies are fragile.
