a fetish is a nasty sexual turn on, fancy is like food. I fancy grilled chicken and shrimp...but I have a fetish for oil and waterbeds

The fetish is necessary (or borders on it); the fancy is strictly optional.

fetish is liking girls that dress slutty, for example. fancy is a cocktail waitress with the right make up and a dolly parton wig.
