"click?"
I sometimes "click" on to the mean people's questions to see what they are saying. (like KooKooBananas & John Skerry) I sometimes answer, but usually I don't bother. They aren't convincing anyone anyway.
I'm not IN a "clique" (a small exclusive group of friends or associates) with the mean people.

Yes. I find it entertaining to bait these morons.
I do take time to answer more serious questions on other parts of this site.
Politics like religeon is a dead end on Yahoo Answers.
The truely intelligent people are likely using blogs and avoid the nonsence that goes on here.

Other than that I don't seek out the mean people. It's a waste of time and energy. You?

Only when I am horrified at an answer do I contact that person for possible clarification OR just tell them I am appalled at their mean spirited answers. Probably most of them just to do it to get attention and they don't really want to think about a good answer.

Mostly no. They usually have nothing valuable to contribute. Just trolls looking for attention. I mainly pass on by their questions now.

I avoid them. When I see a question that is obviously hostile, I don't 'click' on it.
