My refrigerator making unexplained, Satanic noises. I'm serious. I can't explain it, but I swear it's haunted. Yeah, I know it sounds pretty weird.

Honestly, the spookiest sound to me is just dead silence. I'm just used to my loud family, so I can't go to sleep or do work or anything unless I have the radio on in the background! Clearly, I don't hear it often, but when I do, it's pretty freaky!

When I was a teenager, some buddies and I were camped out in the mountains. We were sitting around the fire some time after dark and a panther cried out. A panther sounds like a woman screaming, a very big woman. We packed up and went back to town.

A transformer blew up a couple of blocks away,at night.
It lit up the sky and produced a sound I had never heard before, and haven't heard since.
It scared me so bad I grabbed my girlfriend and went to the basement for a minute.I seriously thought it was an Atomic bomb and the world was ending.
It sounded like the sky had split wide open.

Well... imagine this. It was like two years ago. I was all alone at my house. And suddenly I heard someone downstairs... I really freaked out. Then I fount out that it had been my neighbor... he had seen that there were no cars parked- which could mean that there was no one on the house, and he saw that the door of my house was open, so he came with his gun by to check if someone had came in to rob us. It was very scary.

In Afghanistan one of our men were killed. He broke his leg. They tried to crush his head by dropping a stone on his head but the stone was not quit heavy enough. It took a few shots.
We later that night caught up to the group. We attacked them and found the guy who killed our guy. We all left him in a room alone with some Pakistani military force. (We are not allowed to torture, but b/c its a great way to get inteligance we hand off some of our prisoners to Pakistan's men who are allowed to do it.)
Took them 2 hours to kill him. His screams were the creepiest thing i ever heard.

When you are alone in the dark listening to the beginning of Shakira's Don't Bother, when she quietly talks. It is so scary. Or when the Grudge makes that one sound.
