I haven't had the lucid dreaming experience, though I found out I might have astral projected once in my sleep. I also had a peak experience...a feeling of oneness with everything that exists, where I lost all my senses for a few seconds, things turned black and I felt as if my atoms merged with all the others in the universe. Instead of being a part of it, I was it. But only for a few seconds. Hasn't happened since.

Yes, It's called "lucid dreaming." If you're interested there are techniques to increase your chances of experiencing it, along with practice.

One time I decided to fly out the window. Most of the other ones I decided to "do" whatever girl was nearby. Funny, she was always willing too.

At first I thought you were asking if anyone has ever experienced total enlightenment, like nirvana or something. And I was going to say, once in a dream I experienced pure happiness, never equaled in my real life to this day.

No, never have, but wouldn't it be great if we could. We would never get out of bed though, so I guess it's best we aren't able to control our dreams. I have had a series of dreams so pleasant I didn't want to wake up, especially if it involved my late parents. The mind is an extraordinary thing isn't it.

No, because I am usually too busy admiring the colours and living the adventure in my dream. Last vivid dream I had I was with another girl and we were trying to find the heart of the volcano, going down these bluey white corridors. It was delightfully weird.

Yes, I do this everyday in the morning, I dream that I am lying rotten in my bed, and then I feel as if I am out of my own body standing in front of me. But then I realise that I am standing in front of the mirror. Then I pull myself towards bathroom I feel as if I am not walking, as if I am someone else. Then I feel like pushing some tea down my thought and I feel a pressure on my chest. This reminds me of my cigarettes. I light one and take a deep inhalation it hits me like a punch, I cough and find myself grinding my teeth in a semi-dormant state asserting my will to myself for giving up smoking. But I cannot understand, I cannot see in the mist of my mind - why do I like things that hate most? I try to get an answer. Then thinking about things of the day ahead I feel like going to sleep again.

I've done that. It's really cool. Kinda like your own 'choose your own adventure' book. The coolest thing is, I was awake in the middle of it to visit the loo and managed to continue the dream. My theory is, dreams are part of your thought process. If you are already semi-conscious, you are more able to manipulate your mind to think of your own plots and storylines.

Yes I have. I've been in dreams where I willed myself to fly and the energy came from the solar plexus. One time as I was coming back to my body I felt the vibration in transition. It was like I was fluid with electricity running through me in very fast waves. I've also had that feeling of absolute love and bliss-a happiness beyond our definitions.

Don't you just want to stay awhile sometimes?
