How about a serial killer that stalks and kills people on an answer forum type website. He only kills people that ask stupid questions though.

I've written a sp about an incident that happened to me involving 2 competing women (and their girlfriends) that I dated in my wild youth. I've never seen it's like in any film or book.
So I suggest you start with something unique and original that holds meaning for you personally, let the story write itself, then color it with beauty and tragedy as is life's wont..

Write about children and their pets. Families who go through crises in their lives. Like a dad who got cancer and how the family copes and deals with it. People need hope in this world. Can you write so that there is a hope and reason to live and persevere?
