Wow the two ladies above beat me to it....
I would suggest that song by Ozzie, or maybe even "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crue.

Come on, man! Lest ye forget Ozzy!!
_________
Okay, how about lyrics by Bon Jovi for Jennifer Nettles? or by Sugarland?
___________
Maybe some good Blues?
____________
OMG how could I forget?!:
"Sailed on the Sloop John B
My granddaddy and me
'Round Nassau town we did roam
We'd been drinkin' all night
Well I got into a fight
Yeah and I feel so broke up
I wanna go home"

Michael Buble - Home
You really limit me by saying no country or folk, since the main one I can think of is a John Denver song, and I don't even like it.
